The unique art of acrylic pouring

And then there’s the art of the pour itself.
I spent years finetuning a satisfying pouring technique that is at the core of the unique look of these paintings. I pour the mixed liquid over a surface where it starts to flow on the two-dimensional plane and create mesmerizing abstract, organic shapes. With time, I learned how to partly control the chaos on the surface and direct it towards the look I’m after. But there’s always an element of surprise, coming from the chaotic laws that the fluids abide to.
Each one of the paintings is truly one-of-a-kind.
Furthermore, some of the mediums that have been essential to creating these fluid paintings are not in production any more – making these paintings a truly rare breed. Therefore, I’m happy that these unique paintings are now available to a larger audience with the high-quality fine-art prints. We’ve spent a lot of time & effort to make sure they are true to the original, unique artworks.
